Welcome to Kisa Therapy Clinic. Are you feeling lost or overwhelmed? You’re not alone. We all face challenges at some point in our lives. My name is Sajida, and I’m a licensed therapist passionate about helping people create fulfilling lives. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University (NJ) with a certificate in Promoting Child and Adolescent Well-Being.

My journey to becoming a therapist stemmed from my needing to find support. Taking that first step and seeing a therapist was a turning point for me. Its positive impact on my life fueled my desire to help others experience similar benefits. Additionally, I found social work skills closely aligned with Islamic values, which has been incredibly meaningful for me. The shared emphasis on empathy, self-awareness, and compassion resonates deeply with me. I’m very eager to approach mental health with an Islamic framework.

I was born and raised in New York. I live in NJ with my husband and three children (ages 21, 15, and 3). I love to spend time with my family, learning (especially about Islam and human psychology), traveling, being outdoors, and baking!
