Maryam Sizar

I’m Maryam, a clinical social worker with a professional background in both social work and psychology. I earned my MSW from the University of Michigan and honed my clinical skills at the University of Michigan Children’s Hospital as a psychotherapist, providing trauma-informed care to children and their families.

I offer a diverse range of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care. I believe in a holistic approach to healing, recognizing the profound interrelation between the mind, body, and environment.

My therapeutic values are rooted in a God-centric lens, creating a safe and non-judgmental space for healing. I aim to empower individuals, nurturing strength to build healthier relationships within themselves, their families, and contribute to more resilient communities.
